February 2020 Windsor-Essex Real Estate Stats As we head towards spring and the traditionally busier real estate season, now is a great time to look back at how the market for real estate in Windsor and Essex County fared in February 2020. We can see here that the average sales price this February was higher than in the same month in previous years, and that this price has been continuing to increase each year over the last decade. 2019 Year End Windsor-Essex Real Estate Update As we start into 2020, let’s look back at how things stood at the end of 2019 for real estate in Windsor and Essex County, and what it means for you this year. Housing prices continued to climb in 2019, showing that this remained a strong seller’s market. The average price of a home in Windsor Essex stood at $335,697 at the end of 2019, up over 12%. There was an increase of 12.7% in listings compared to 2018, showing that more sellers were looking to take advantage of the current market conditions. Even with this increase, with the number of people looking to buy right now, there is still a shortage in available properties in Windsor-Essex right now. The number of homes jumped by 287 in 2019 compared to the year before, an increase of 4.6%. In total, 6,521 homes sold in Windsor-Essex last year.
